Parameters:

  • client – [inout] pointer to zero_initialized rcl_client_t

  • node – [in] pointer to an initialized rcl node

  • type_support – [in] the message data type

RCL_RET_OK if successful

Returns:

RCL_ERROR (or other error code) if an error has occurred
