Changelog

2026: Added create_subwindow_from_description() and enqueue_custom_gui_code() as backend-agnostic replacements for the nanogui-specific create_subwindow() / enqueue_custom_nanogui_code() APIs. The old methods are retained but deprecated so that existing callers continue to compile; they will be removed in a future release.
